Does Informal Sector Suitable for Female Labor?

The existence of SDGs program which supported by the demographic bonus era provides potential for female labor force, but fact in Indonesia is that there an inequality number working force compared to men, especially field work dominated women threatened industrial automation 4.0. purpose this study analyze how characteristics opportunities informal and formal job seen from age, marital status, wages, length education taken, ethnicity, area residence. method used binary logistic regression with IFLS 5 data sources. results showed who decided sector were older married women, studied longer, Batak Sasak ethnicities, lived rural areas. Indonesian government expected be able improve policies workers including decent social security health, legal protection order achieve goals according agenda.
